With over 200 participants from various clubs and academies across the Western Cape, competitors of all ages vied for titles across different age divisions. The event showcased an array of dance forms, including the Waltz, Samba, Foxtrot, and Slow Foxtrot.
The atmosphere was electric, filled with music and glamour, attracting both international and national athletes. It was a significant occasion for those awarded, as provincial colours were bestowed upon the deserving dancers. The ceremony was graced by the presence of David-John Smith, President of Western Cape Dancesport, and Mr. JP Naude, President of the Western Cape Provincial Sport Confederation, who both played pivotal roles in the proceedings.
This championship not only highlighted the talent within the region but also emphasized the vibrant dance sport community in the Western Cape.
