On the 16th December 2024, the Beaufort West Cycling Club hosted an exciting and action-packed event at X-Ventures Family Break Away, located just 7km outside Beaufort West. The event featured a range of activities, including a 30km and 20km MTB race, a 10km run, and a 5km fun walk, bringing together participants and supporters for a day of fitness, community, and fun.
This event was made possible thanks to the generous contributions of supporters such as: Beaufort West Toyota, X Ventures Teambuilding and family break-away, Monique Louw, President of Western Cape Cycling – Corne Bence, and Roderick Alan Pieterse.
Beaufort West Cycling Club expresses how the unwavering belief in their mission by all supporters and participants has had a profound impact not only on the club itself, but particularly on the youth of the community. Through everyone’s kindness, BWCC has been able to make strides in promoting cycling and fitness while improving the lives of young people in Beaufort West.
The Western Cape Provincial Sports Confederation congratulates the club on this weekend’s achievement and commends all supporters involved in making the event a success!
