Job Purpose

The Western Cape Provincial Sport Confederation (WCPSC), in partnership with the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport (DCAS), is seeking to employ a suitably qualified individual for the position of Employment Support Clerk based at the WCPSC Head Office.

The position will primarily focus on employment administration and support within the sport employment environment. The successful candidate will assist with employment administration processes, payroll coordination, contract administration, employment records, reporting processes and general office administration linked primarily to MOD Centre operations and staffing structures.

Strong administrative skills, attention to detail, organisational ability and professional communication are essential for this role.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Strong administrative skills and office administration experience
  • Prior employment management knowledge is required
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Recommendations / Advantages

  • Experience managing payroll processes
  • Payroll software experience will be advantageous
  • Experience working within employment or HR administration environments
  • Driver’s License
