This past weekend, the Western Cape Youth Show Jumping Championship, held at the Constantia Valley Riding Club, proved to be a great success for the West Coast District Equestrian Federation. Riders from the West Coast Show Jumping Club delivered impressive performances, showcasing the exceptional talent within the district.
Notable results include Jamie Behrens on Head Honcho, who claimed the title of 1.20m U25 Western Cape Youth Champion. Samantha Clarkson on Infinity Knot secured 3rd place in the 1.10m Junior Championship. 2nd Kayla Gilmour on Sohnemeer S in the 1m Champion title, and Holly Hickman on Goldmark Pandora finished in 3rd place in the 90m Championship.
Western Cape Equestrian, an official member of the Western Cape Provincial Sport Confederation, continues to promote equestrian sports across all districts. As a multi-coded structure, it supports various equestrian disciplines, ensuring growth and participation across the province.
