Sports Administrator

Workplace: Cape Winelands, Overberg, and West Coast Districts
Contract Post Until March 2026
Salary: Stipend of R162.00 – R243.00 per day

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35

- Valid driver’s license
Key Performance Areas
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Promoting, coordinating, and organizing EPWP activities within Sport Federations
- Assisting Sport Federations with administration and marketing
- Liaising with clubs, federations, sport councils, promotion structures, and local authorities
- Promoting mass participation in sport and club activities
- Assisting with the establishment of new sports clubs within the district
Competencies and Skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Understanding of sport administration and federations
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Awareness of socio-economic challenges in the Western Cape and South Africa
- Basic computer literacy
- Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
